Why did my Smalltown Boy AI video fail or look wrong?
Almost always the photos: a face too small, turned away, hidden by sunglasses, or two faces in one upload. Fix the photo and regenerate. If a render fails on our side, the credits are refunded automatically and you can try again at no cost.
Problem → fix
- Faces look like strangers → use a sharper, front-facing photo; crop closer
- Only one person dances → one upload had two faces; crop to one face each
- Cat looks like a dog → use a head-on photo with ears visible, choose Pets mode
- Video is silent → by design; add the original sound on TikTok, or choose the AI 80s beat
- 'Failed' after a few minutes → provider error; credits refunded, regenerate
- Still processing after 10 minutes → refresh My videos; renders finish in the background
Preview looked fine, paid video differs
Preview and full video are separate renders, so small differences in motion are normal. Faces should match in both; if they don't, email support@smalltownboyvideo.net with the video link and we'll re-run or refund.
